"Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish"

Luke 13:5 Spoken by Jesus.

Repent means to stop doing the things that are wrong and start doing what is right.

Repent before it's too late for you.  God's judgment is near

Repentance is mankind's most important work.

God did his work, now you must do yours.

The emphasis in religion today is on what God has done and that you only have to believe. We know God did his work well and he is perfect. God has done his part of salvation. To say that God did a perfect work and you don't have to do anything but believe on him is not the whole truth. The most basic of all bible doctrines is that God expects you to do what he tells you to do. Some people call this legalism but Jesus called It " the love of God."  Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." If you don't keep the commandments, you become God's enemy. Remember the devil is one of God's ex-employees. He simply one day stopped obeying God.

You will be judged according to your works and not just for what you believe. Jesus explained this in Matthew 7:21-23. The people Jesus spoke of called him Lord, showing they believed on him, yet they were judged and condemned for their sinful behavior.

Everybody wants to be happy and blessed but they don't want to repent and obey God. You can come near to God only with repentance. Jesus came to "take away the sins of the world." If he takes the sins away, that means you can't have them anymore.

If you honestly want to draw nearer to God and be blessed, then read the Holy Bible and find out what is right and what is wrong. Then do what God says.
